Where should I start? Restaurant is nice, the beer garden is very well maintained. The boss and the staff are nice. At the prices you can not complain and especially the beef citizens that I ate today tastes 1000 times better than McDonalds. Always worth a recommendation! 😁

First and foremost a big compliment to everyone involved, whether in the summer during the bike ride to rest in the beautiful beer garden or in the cold winter in the cozy dining room, "Zum goldenen Anker" is always worth a visit. The food is always fresh, here you can tell that the chef understands his "craft" and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We were also able to celebrate some family celebrations here, from the agreement to the implementation of the buffet has always worked out great! We can recommend the Golden Anchor to 100% and like to come back!

Beer garden with a beautiful view, service not very friendly: the menu is not automatically brought because I just want to drink and the first thing I know is that my bike should be put away. Although I am the only guest and it would not bother anyone.

An alternative to the overcrowded restaurants in Bad Schmiedeberg. The food was delicious and also freshly prepared. Homemade pesto, homemade hollandaise souce and everything prepared with great attention to detail. The waitresses were polite and looked after us perfectly. I would give a 6th star here! Top!
